Erin told us of her education background, experience and shared with us how she's inspired by her love of the outdoors, camping and rock climbing. Erin captured that feeling in Color Drift I. The huge oak tree and rolling hills of Paso Robles filled a hole in my heart, and it was love at first sight. These pictures were of the places she deeply loved, and painting was her way to love them, to take them in and keep them safe and by doing so, become part of them.

"I bought a book that had been made about her work, but it must be said that the energy in her paint cannot be captured in photographs. The canvases are large and tend to wrap you in an embrace completely impossible in print. These were no sentimental visions of some Victorian yearning for a better time, they were the "song-lines" of a tribal heart that can speak to the Earth.
